Finström Church, Finström

The oldest parts of the Finström Church date from the 12th century. The church replaced an earlier wooden church from around the 1000s. The church has one of the best preserved medieval interiors in Finland. There are many medieval wooden sculptures, and the wall paintings are from the middle of the 15th century.
